How to Deadhead Lantana?

Last Updated on February 12, 2022 by Sam

The deadheading process is a routine that gardeners perform to remove flowers from plants and allow them to produce new blooms. It’s also the technique of removing unwanted vegetation in order to create better plant growth for landscaping purposes or pest prevention.

A lantana seed pod looks like a brown and green cylindrical shape that has a small opening at the top. The pods are about the size of a quarter, but they can grow up to 2 inches in diameter.

Lantana is a perennial plant that grows in the wild and can be found in many gardens. It has beautiful flowers, but it also spreads quickly and can take over an area if left unchecked. To keep your garden from becoming overrun with this plant, you will need to deadhead it regularly. Reference: pruning lantana.
